Human Resources/Recruiting Assistant

ACME Player Services, LLC is currently recruiting for a full-time Human Resources Assistant with an emphasis on staffing and recruitment. We are seeking a proactive well-organized individual with a positive attitude; excellent people skills; good attention to detail and outstanding communication skills. Some HR experience is preferred.

Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the recruitment of candidates for Company positions, including sourcing candidates, conducting phone screens and interviews, and conducting New Hire Orientation.

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

  • Assist employees by handling HR related questions or distributing the question to the relevant source.

  • Assists and prepares correspondence.

  • Files sensitive materials accordingly and maintains confidentially of all employee files.

  • Assist with the preparation of New Hire Orientation and maintains the organization of employee files.

  • Providing comprehensive support to the Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Director.

  • Create and maintain employee files and personnel records and ensure that HR files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain HRIS system and ensure accurate data input into HRIS system.

  • Assist with projects, such as handbooks, policy research and development, and the organization of company events.

  • Perform general administrative HR duties.

  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Ideal candidates must have:

  • Prior experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on recruiting and staffing preferred

  • Must be proficient on all MS Office applications.

  • Must have excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.

  • Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This position requires constant sitting or standing, some walking around, and occasionally lifting no more than 20 lbs.
